JOIN A MEETING!

  • The District 4 Joint Town Council Meeting UCP focuses on providing a social infrastructure in Southeastern San Diego through hosting community meetings and providing direct resident-stakeholder relationships. Every first Wednesday of the Month!

  • The Community, Infrastructure, & Transportation Meeting focuses on gathering a group of Southeastern San Diego community members to discuss transportation & infrastructure issues and oppotunities in their neighborhood. This also brings together public agencies and organizations who operate in the transportation space. Every second Thursday of the Month!

  • UCP utilizes an excellent civic engagement and advocacy process known as the Resident Leadership Academy (RLA)—a framework developed by Community Health Improvement Partners. The RLA is used to empower residents with the skills, tools, and leadership training needed to identify and effectively solve their own neighborhood problems together. At least once a year, UCP conducts this 9-week program involving residents of SESD to build their community capacity, leadership, and self-sustainability. It has been an effective tool in the design and development of Community Improvement Projects (CIPs).

  • Annually, UCP celebrates Southeastern San Diego and City Council District 4 by bringing together community at the 4 Corners of Life at the intersection of Euclid & Imperial Avenue. Here, local coffee vendors, government agencies, and community come together around local coffee brews, treats, and live music.
